Language of Studies at Technion<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

By default, classes at the Technion are conducted in Hebrew. Therefore basic knowledge of Hebrew is recommended. However, in certain circumstances, graduate courses across all Technion departments may be offered in English, following a request by an international student in regard to a specific course. For more details, see this<\/span> table<\/a>. The table lists the departments that are committed to offering courses in English, along with relevant conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n

All professors, as well as most teaching assistants, are fluent in English and can therefore offer assistance when necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although pre-requisite courses are generally taught in Hebrew, some of them are offered in English through the \u201cTechnion International Center.\u201d<\/a> For more information, please consult your department\u2019s<\/a> Graduate Studies Secretary.<\/span><\/p>\n
