Faculty of Mechanical Engineering<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Of all the fields of engineering, mechanical engineering, and especially at the Technion, is seen as the broadest engineering in terms of the areas of interest studied during the degree as well as in terms of the fields of practice in which the graduate engineers integrate. The technological and scientific challenges, as well as the rapid changes we are experiencing at the local and global level, require all of us to continue to develop in order to continue to be at the forefront, to lead and leave a mark. An advanced degree in mechanical engineering from the Technion, with a long history and global reputation, provides the answer to this.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the degree, the students receive tools that will allow them to continue to develop on a personal level, identify problems, ask questions and provide innovative and creative solutions to the challenges they face, challenges that, in most cases, seem insoluble. The students experience this personal journey while working in collaboration with researchers and a dynamic research team, in the most advanced research laboratories in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Technion encourage students to make connections with researchers and colleagues from all over the world, participate in international conferences and hold reciprocal visits. Studying an advanced degree in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technion is an experience that the graduates take with them to every area of \u200b\u200btheir lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

Graduates of an advanced degree in mechanical engineering from the Technion occupy leading positions in industry, both in the field of development and production and in the field of research. Our graduates shape the future of all of us because the best way to predict the future is to create it. Those of the graduates who go on to a doctor’s degree are accepted with open arms for post-doctoral positions at the world’s leading universities, and then integrate into academia in Israel and around the world and are at the forefront of global research.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering offers several\u00a0master’s degree programs<\/a> as well as a\u00a0<\/span>doctoral degree program.<\/a> These programs are open to holders of a bachelor’s degree (BSc) in <\/span>engineering and graduates of science faculties (such as mathematics, physics, computer science) from a recognized academic institution, as detailed below.<\/span><\/p>\n
