MSc and ME programs
The Design and Manufacturing Management program leads to the degrees of Master of Science and Master of Engineering. This is a new interdisciplinary program and includes the following academic departments: The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management and the Faculty of Materials Engineering. The curriculum consists of courses aimed at promoting knowledge in updated methods in design and quality engineering and modern methods of advanced manufacturing. Special emphasis is awarded to management aspects of manufacturing recognizing the inter-relations between engineering and management of manufacturing systems.
MSc program
The program is open to those interested in research. It requires the supervision of a faculty member from one of the participating faculties.
The standard study program option for earning a Master of Science degree requires 20 credits of graduate courses and a research thesis (equivalent to 20 credits). Earning an MSc degree allows for applying for PhD studies following the Graduate School regulations.
ME program
A non-thesis program requires 40 credit points that include a seminar/project of 5 credits and 11 compulsory courses, which constitutes the core issues of the program
