Filling out the registration forms is done through the student portal, where you can attach relevant documents, and at the end of the process you will be asked to pay registration fee.

Scholarship Portions Application Form: Students will receive information and a link to the relevant form with the admission letter.
Recommendations: Recommendation letters can be sent directly to the International Students’ Coordinator at the Graduate Registration and Admission Office.
Registration Fee: At the end of the application process, you will be asked to pay a registration fee. Please note that registration fees are not refunded in cases of cancellation or rejection.
Advisor: Candidates for a PhD and candidates for Master’s degree in some faculties, are required to find an advisor before applying. It is recommended that students consult with a graduate studies coordinator in the department regarding if and what the requirements of the academic department are, in addition to those of the Graduate School.
Ranking: If available, your place in class is to be submitted by candidates who have not graduated from Technion.
GRE: For the following programs: Aerospace Engineering, Nano Science, Electrical Engineering, Autonomous Systems and Robotics. For Mechanical Engineering applicants may require a waiver, must have a recommendation from the future advisor. Applicants for Mechanical Engineering from non English speaking countries might be required to take a TOEFL test instead . For the department of Chemistry, applicants might be required to take the GRE, depending upon the decision of the committee flowing the interview.
GMAT: For MBA only, applicants may take the GRE test instead.

This discussion includes an examination of the academic and department requirements, consent of the advisor in the same departments requesting the above, personal interviews and more.
The decision of the Graduate Studies Committee may be acceptance of the student for studies, while determining candidacy (a regular student or a supplementing student), the educational requirements or rejection of the application.
The Committee’s decision is transferred to the Registration and Admission Office.
Admission to studies includes also the educational requirements, in accordance with the decision of the Department Committee and the requirements of the Graduate School.
Admission or rejection is confirmed by the Academic Secretary of the Graduate School.
An acceptance letter and additional documents are sent to the student.
A rejection letter is sent to candidates who the Graduate Committee of the academic department has decided not to accept.
A candidate who wishes to defer candidacy and has not yet received an answer regarding their acceptance to studies, can request to change the application semester by contacting the Registration and Admission Office via email. The change will be made at the beginning of the registration period for the requested semester.
A deferral of candidacy may be requested for up to two semesters, but the request must be submitted for each semester separately.
A candidate who wishes to change their candidacy by transferring to another department and has not yet received an answer regarding their acceptance to studies, is asked to cancel the original application and submit a new one via the Student Portal.
A candidate who wishes to change their candidacy, and has already received an acceptance letter, should contact the Registration and Admission Office via Email.
A candidate who wishes to cancel candidacy will do so via the Student Portal, as early as possible.
A student whose notice arrives after the start date of the semester will be required to pay tuition as required.
In order to complete the process of your acceptance to the Graduate School, you must perform the following actions as soon as possible, using your student ID number or Israeli ID. You can find your ID number on your acceptance letter.
You will need to arrange for a “student visa” (A/2) from your country of origin. The admission letter needs to be attached to the application (the scanned version will usually suffice).

Please be aware that the first Scholarship payment will be deposited on the 1st of every month (for the previous month), which means November 1st for the Fall semester, and April 1st for the Spring semester.
Please bring with you sufficient funds to finance your stay at the Technion for your initial stay until the first scholarship payment, including the monthly payment for the dormitories.
Please be advised that after your arrival you will be debited with 800 Shekel deposit for the dormitories.
Having Health insurance by an Israeli agency is mandatory in accordance with Israeli law. It is necessary to arrange for the health insurance prior to your arrival in Israel.

1) Open an Israeli bank account: As noted earlier, please be aware that the first scholarship payment will be deposited on the 1st of every month (for the previous month).
You may open an bank account at “Leumi bank” (Bank Leumi branch near the Technion located at Ziv Center in Haifa). The contact person at the bank is called Lital.

2) Submit the following two tuition forms to the “students account” department using the Technion student portal in “Campus>>My Requests”:
Direct Transfer Authorization: Complete the Authorization to debit a bank account (signed by the bank).

A Technion email address will automatically be assigned for all new students without an active Technion email box. A separate notice on the subject is sent by the IT Department (up to one week after receiving the acceptance letter by email). You can recover your password and email using the IT website. Please note: All Technion announcements and updates during studies are made through this email, it is mandatory to check this email.
Request for a scholarship must be submitted using the Technion student portal in “Campus>>My Requests”.
Scholarships are granted based on the recommendation of the Graduate Studies Committee by the Scholarships Office, with the beginning of the semester.
Eligibility for dormitories is determined on the basis of academic achievements and in accordance with the availability of the dormitories. Notice of acceptance to the dormitories will be sent before the beginning of the semester by the Dormitories Office.
Registration for courses is done by using Technion student portal in “Campus>>Online course catalog”. For your convenience, an online course registration guide.
Each student in the study tracks with a thesis, must submit an online request for vocational training insurance via the portal>> “My Requests”. The request must be submitted at the beginning of each semester.
